"Our
goal is to put people to work"
The
Welfare to Work Program at Wayne ARC is designed to assist and train
individuals to become productive, responsible employees and has
become a prototype for the State of New York. Wayne ARC currently
operates three Welfare to Work Programs in conjunction with the
Wayne County Department of Social Services.
The
Intensive Case Management Program assists individuals in developing
a plan of services to overcome barriers that prevent them from achieving
self-sufficiency. Individuals work closely with their case manager
in developing their plan of services to establish goals that need
to be achieved for these individuals to become self-sufficient.
The
LIVES Program assists individuals in accessing services to obtain
employment. Such services include, but are not limited to, vocational
services and training, job coaching, on-going supports to maintain
employment, etc.
