The
Day Habilitation and Day Training Programs are designed to promote
self-esteem by helping each individual function as independently
as possible in their every day life. An individualized plan is developed
for each person based on his or her desires and needs with input
from the individual, family and Wayne ARC staff. Developmentally
disabled adults in Wayne County are provided social and life skills
training through a variety of activities and community involvement.
Individuals
are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences
including:
